Five Dog-Friendly Breweries & Pubs in Denver

We asked Lauren Smith at Visit Denver for a list of dog-friendly breweries and her reply was, “I think the question is, what breweries are NOT dog friendly!” Since there are so many, we’ve narrowed it down to five here and added the rest to the CityDog Directory!


Denver Beer Company (1695 Platte Street, Denver; Denver Beer Company was born out of a passion for the craft of brewing and bringing people together over a pint and a shared love of the outdoors, welcoming Denverites and dog lovers alike to sit and relax with friends and a pint on the patio.

Cerveceria Colorado (1635 Platte Street, Denver; Cerveceria Colorado’s mission is to honor the traditions, flavors and culture of Mexico with a beer that is inclusive, collaborative and celebratory. Their beer is brewed to be shared with family, friends and neighbors, so grab a cold one and enjoy it with Fido on the pooch-friendly patio!

Dry Dock Brewing Company (2801 Tower Road, Aurora; Dry Dock Brewing Company was the first brewery to open in Aurora, Colorado and home to 25 Great American Beer Festival medals, Small Brewery of the Year, and eight World Beer Cup awards. Impressive! Choose your flavor of choice from one of these award-winning beers then step out on the patio where dogs are welcome.

River North Brewery (3400 Blake Street, Denver; River North Brewery on Blake Street is RiNo’s oldest brewery! The  taproom offers 12 beers brewed on-site ranging from pilsners and IPA’s to imperial and barrel-aged big beers…there’s something for every craft beer enthusiast! The dog-friendly patio offers the option to sit outside and enjoy Colorado’s sunny days with your canine companion, where you can also enjoy grub from some of Denver’s finest food trucks and local restaurants.

Avery Brewing Comany (4910 Nautilus Ct. N., Boulder; This family owned and operated craft brewery in Boulder is dedicated to brewing the finest quality ales and lagers and serving them up with a gourmet brewpub menu, while you kick back with Fido and friends on their dog-friendly patio!
